I believe that despite the many thousands of hours of practical experience I have, there is always more to learn. This certificate from Carson Dunlop and associates represents over 420 hours of academic training completed to further my educational background in home inspection. The courses were taken directly through Carson Dunlop, the firm that provides course content to the colleges, and in some cases provides technical support for the colleges students via e-mail. Even though some Carson Dunlop people have also been instructors at the colleges I elected to train through the firm rather than a secondary source.
These certificates are just couple of examples the many that I hold representing over one hundred and ninety hours of home inspection training so far, additional courses are ongoing all the time. Added to this are many additional hundreds of hours of seminars, peer conversations and research on inspection specific topics.

There are many Log and Timberframe homes in the Orillia, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, and Muskoka area and with my background in building and manufacturing of these style homes, inspections of them are a specialty of mine.
